I mean, after saving the data for my char, I still have to reload my LF2 for it to update the latest change
(know what I'm saying? sorry for the terrible grammar)

Saving is not what writes to the executable. In order to do this click the Write to Exe button, in the toolbars (a text file, with a green arrow pointing left). There is also the Auto Write button (a text file with a save icon), which will automatically write it to LF2 whenever you save the file.
Also ensure you downloaded the WTE version of the program, as the NoWTE does not have this feature.

This thing is so damn useful. I am in love with it! This has helped so much with speeding up the process of my Fanpai project since I use a lot of experimenting and trial and error. There are a few instances where miscellaneous bottom text from other data changers crash the program and the game, but that's it.

Thanks.
It's good to know some people find it useful.
As to the extra symbols I'm aware that they exist appear, but have not experienced any problems relating to crashes with them. If you could explain it further I will look into a fix for it.
There are these question marks (sometimes jibberish letters) I get at the bottom of the data file. Your program won't let me save when those are present. In fact, it wants to crash. When I remove them, the program will let me save as usual.

It happens when I use data altered by another program, make a change with your program, and then try to save it. Since I didn't have this data connected to the exe, LF2 didn't crash.

Since it won't let me make an attachment...

I believe the crash is caused by the Write To Exe function. It should save normally without it enabled, so that is where I'll go to fix it. Thanks for the help.
Small update.
Simply added some more keywords to the LF2AI lexer, in order to reflect the newest DLL update.
