Face pic is accurate characterization of general! Great job! But something about his neck seems to bother me..too much forward bend or something?

RE: [char] General [1st form] - Memento - 07-02-2015

I think the neck looks a bit off because the anatomy of his spine isn't correct

There should be a minor lordosis rather than a kyphosis in his neck

Its too fast for me to see what's really happening, but something about the leg movement doesn't seem right to me

How does the running look in animation by the way? Can you show? ^^

RE: [char] General [1st form] - Ariel - 07-16-2015

well its a rough sketch ,
i think his punch should look heavy with the use of whole body weight so thats what i tried to come up witht his punches ^_^

anyway here is the running:
(now when i look at it i think his right arm should have bit more movement)

very nice running, but i think left arm should have less movements and right arm more movements. It's too fast for me to see what is the thing cathces my eyes, i guess it's left arm hmm

RE: [char] General [1st form] - Memento - 07-17-2015

I think the left arm is fine and the right one needs more movement. All fast runners have much arm swing U
IRL (it doesn't always work like that in LF2, Rudolf has no armswing at all. You could add a minor rotation eventually to make it look natural (like 1-2 pixels) but that's not all too important

If you want the punches to look powerful, perhaps you could make him punch wite a pretty big rotation like this: http://www.google.nl/imgres?imgurl=http://m0.sportsjoe.ie/YToyOntzOjQ6ImRhdGEiO3M6MTY3OiJhOjM6e3M6MzoidXJsIjtzOjEwNToiaHR0cDovL21lZGlhLXNwb3J0c2pvZS5tYXhpbXVtbWVkaWEuaWUuczMuYW1hem9uYXdzLmNvbS93cC1jb250ZW50L3VwbG9hZHMvMjAxNS8wMy8xOTEyMTY1Ny80NjEwMDY1OTQuanBnIjtzOjU6IndpZHRoIjtpOjY0NztzOjY6ImhlaWdodCI7aTozNDA7fSI7czo0OiJoYXNoIjtzOjQwOiJlMzkxNzc2MzFhNjhmNGZmOTNiZTE2MTA0YzliYjg1ZjFiZDg1YjMwIjt9/461006594.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.sportsjoe.ie/mma/jon-jones-admits-he-lacks-punching-power-i-couldnt-bust-a-grape/18036&h=340&w=647&tbnid=Us7bNYGGcet4lM:&docid=OzpY7Rq16wCTYM&ei=25uoVbPoJ8OtU9r6jfAK&tbm=isch&client=ms-android-samsung&ved=0CIoBEDMoYzBjahUKEwjzwdGhwOHGAhXD1hQKHVp9A64
Legs should also rotate, but hips usually aren't moving backward/forward so much

RE: [char] General [1st form] - Ariel - 07-17-2015

something like this for the punches?
