stick with the non-effect one
the stance is pretty kewl, the only thing i'd advise ya on is add a kewl glowing eye on to his right
facial features and eyes are experimental, so just eyeball it ;D

Okay here is my new try.
Tried to make the eye look good but i'm bad at making eyes ._.
Also i didnt knew how to make the eye glow..

That effect is pretty cool, but it could use be smoother. And if you want to add a glow, you'd need to start from a white center and pillow shade 'till the edges with the desired glow color.
