Day 5 (conclusion)
Without much further ado, Apocalipsis is fingered as Rhino's partner in crime. He is glued to the town's city walls while the rest of the citizens enter the town's siege workshop to start construction of an onager - the largest one this town has ever seen. By the evening, it has been done: The weapon of mass destruction is rolled towards Apocalipsis, who desperately tries to struggle free, but in vain. The others proceed to fill the onager with a load of heavy stones.
Shortly before launching them, though, it is noticed that MnM has gone missing. As the rocks soar through the air, he is seen trying to free Apocalipsis from the glue, but alas, much too slow. The rest of the town watches as Apocalipsis and MnM, the remaining Mafias, are buried under the weight of the rocks.
The nightmare has reached its end.
Note: I proceeded to end this off prematurely, because there was absolutely no way Mafia could have turned this around anymore (not even with the remaining Mafia double-kill ability).
Therefore, congratulations to the Town fraction, they have survived and won this round!
For the next round,
things will be a bit different. I'm gonna try a really unique setup, and I hope to see you joining in for it. I will open a separate thread for it once I finish writing up the specifics, but you can already pre-signup in this thread.
