amazing, it looks so realistic!
and about the bg, we dont want a bg with spacial effects, just take a temp bg, and make a beutifull art like those,
i would really like a bg like that last man on earth, its really amazing!

In fact, I get bored when upon placing the layers into the dat-file, without any special thingummies :p
I can try giving it a shot again (and maybe record it as well). Any specific wishes for bg-theme?

Theme theme theme. Hmnnnn...
Maybe.. Um.. Some... No..
I spy with my little eye, something beggining with S.
Street?
No.
What then?
Ship yard or ship dock or whatevre it is.
Well, then you could make some like ship animations when they sail away or be on theyr way and can be seen in far away horizon.

Something...dark and evil looking :P maybe a different planet, where in the sky, you see millions of stars? (Something like any of your awesome space art :D) What do you think?

The problem with that one is that the walking-area is ridiculously small. I could, however, kind of utilize this theme, true :)

This morning, when my internet went boom, I had some time to whip up a quick scene (and record its process):
I think, I won't be adding a planet to it because it'd have no real impact on the image (I can't really make it its own parallax-layer because any hard-edged planet will look horrible; and without alpha-transparency, it doesn't look that nice).

LFE is currenly in read-only-mode, so I don't have the chance to upload the making-of-video (which gives a quick glance at how I create space-scenes). It's in my to-upload-queue already, though ;)

On a related note, I finally got my rear picked up and collected most images of this thread in the first post. It seriously looks horrible when you quote it :p

When are you going to upload this video?
Does it have commentary this time, if not; add it, I think that would be cool!

(also, "texture" is a pretty hard word :p)

Either way, anybody willing to transform this into an lf2-background? I am a little lazy :p
