Gad told me he didn't really like the orb on the character, so I decided to try something else:

I think I overdid it a little though, he's still a minion, but he looks more like a main character now :p

Do you guys like the orb, or do you know a good solution to fix the look? I tend to agree with Gad on this.

prefer the old one much more.
cant see any problem with the orb, i think it fits.

It surely does fit the character type, much more than this armorstuff Gad suggested :p
An orb could be fine, perhaps I should just place a few pixels of shadow under it to show some depth and it could be fine like that :)

Yea, an outfit that doesn't shout physical strenght fits him much better in my opinion, too :p

I think I'll try a gilet on him. The buttons may actually be orb-like. Not sure if I'll keep it, but I'll try it. If the old design is still better, I'll keep the old one :)


edit: it doesn't fit and the old one was fine, so I'll stick with it. I'll add a few pixels of shadow to give some depth to the orb, it will barely be notable but just enough :)

if you dont want the orb, you can just make the neck hole thing
and than show like the white shirt under it


General redesign concept - Ariel - 04-18-2015

general updated concept-

main changes on each level:
lv.1
mask-less, normal armor, shirt, regular hair.

Lv.2
normal mask, better armor, cape (like most of lf2 bosses), messy hair.

Lv.2
Master mask (all masks fused together), cracked armor + bigger shoulder, ripped cape, even messier hair.



colors and brightness are also changing each level.

Hmn, this kind of design does someone who is not General. General should be cool looking, now I see a davis in armor.

I could totally use that shampoo of his. It makes your hair grow bigger!

I like how the diffirent versions evolve by the way :)

Not sure, what reminds you of Davis except the hair? The hair will probably be similar to what you suggested. Perhaps we should keep the facial scar as well..

I was thinking, I loved how the boots and the pants blended color-wise: [Image: Wcu9CB2.png]

Perhaps we could make the boots like in that picture, but without the iron parts. I know the iron parts are awesome, but they might take too much time to draw. We also might want to simplify the boots a little.

My suggestions to simplify the design:
- take off the iron parts from the boots;
- take off some stuff from his left arm, to make it just like the right arm (except the big hook-like part on the shoulder)
- eventually remove details like pockets from the pants

IDK but I feel his face looks a bit too.. 'positive' for his role. I can't explain it, give him an eviler face :P

Also I love how his armor gets darker >:D
