Use Julian's, it's the closest i can think of for that type of run (since he raises his knee while running).

Also, about legs.
I think it will look better if they are not connected("blurred" with blue) in the first frame, to have balance between third and first.

The problem is that he is not fat enough... just kiddin , awesome sprite... try spriting some moves or making more HF sprites...

P.S. for example its easy making Sabrina by respriting Jan...

Awesome sprite! You carried his Hf look in lf2 style brilliantly as you always do.

But when you sprite in 400% bigger size you basically don't want do tinny details 'cuze you lost them when you resize and it looks bit rough then.
Just take a look on his boots. You did so many lines and stuffs so it makes unclear in small image. Also with his face. Do not go with too many tinny details.(I would say pants as well, but it can be say they are wrinkled.) I remember pf was explaining it in some of his tut about spriting in 200%/400%(...). Instead make big, clearly visible surfaces!

Yes, he isn't. He would be too ugly, if he was any more fatter.

Based on Jan it's easy to sprite any of HF' girls. They're identical. But what's the point if I can do it from scratch?

Surely. I just need to learn keep bigger distance between lines/surfaces, but on the other hand, I'm enjoying final results in original size more, than these ones after resizing and that's what I really want to show off here. At least as long as it's just a single sprite.
