Are u completley sure that people will always go down Megatron? IRC chat and that has no difference. Still though in my opinion nice idea but IRC has allready taken it's place along time ago!

I would search for a chatbox like game4fans had one, it was on top. You should also be able to hide it if you dont wanna see the chat. Will search in january when I'm back

Voted no, obviously. The reason why I disapprove of a chatbox on the index page is because keeping the index open is as less use as having a seperate tab for it open. Quite honestly if you want to chat just grab something external like MSN or w/e and work with that instead, forums already have enough of a place to discuss things, adding something like that seems fairly irrelevant.
