RE: you throw a boomarang and it comes back. - TheNave - 04-08-2009 lol, it was me who did that^^ and it was also somehow buggy because the "other" Links cought the boomerang aswell when it passed through them RE: you throw a boomarang and it comes back. - Madara Uchiha - 04-08-2009 i don't mine, it will look better then what i have done, so please explain? RE: you throw a boomarang and it comes back. - JossuaDC - 04-08-2009 Hmm... Boomerang summon Jan's Angel after x time (Boomerang = t3 object? Weapons don't have timers. Special frame in weapon file activated by character - deletes weapon and opoints Jan's Angels.). Jan's Angels reacts with ik:8 to a t0 summoned by Boomerang (weapon - just before disappearing) and leads to frames resembling a Boomerang and flies to summoner (really difficult to pull off without the thing switching targets). Boomerang (returning version) summons t0 objects every single frame (t0 objects delete themselves after leaving their first frames (wait: 1?)). Summoner catches t0 object summoned by Boomerang (r.v.). Boomerang (r.v.) reacts with ik:8 to caught t0 and deletes itself. t0 object shows Boomerang sprites. Summoner deletes t0 'fake' Boomerang and opoint+wpoint (you know - summoning a weapon and holding it.) original Boomerang. Getting the thing to follow ONLY the summoner will be hard to pull off without an ik:8 (with ik:8 it'll just teleport - second post of this thread)... Erm... It's really not worth the trouble, Madara Uchiha. Like Clews attack OR The boomerang reacts with itr/kind: 8 directly to the char. Easier I'd say. RE: you throw a boomarang and it comes back. - JossuaDC - 04-08-2009 It'll work either way ![]() RE: you throw a boomarang and it comes back. - Drahcir - 04-08-2009 There's actually a really easy way, but then your char won't be able to move while he's doing it. Use dvx and itr:kind:8 on the boomerang, and a really high bdy on the char. RE: you throw a boomarang and it comes back. - TheNave - 04-08-2009 duh! Actually the sense of this whole thread is THAT you should be able to move and the boomerang is still following you... without moving it would be somehow fu*king easy RE: you throw a boomarang and it comes back. - JossuaDC - 04-11-2009 ik:8 = teleporting boomerang = won't look good. |
