pretty much, yes, so...
another reason for the exe to crash will be if there is a wrong syntax used in the dat-file

when i downloaded many char, when it load it fine. but when i pick random, it crash ??

Please, this thread is more than two months old, and that is serious gravedigging what you're doing. And it'd also help if you actually read the first post, then you probably would've found the reason for crashing.
