RE: alternate punches - Bamboori - 03-14-2010 well yeah, the punches will be quite difficult to perform^^ therefor you could make them stronger. RE: alternate punches - YinYin - 03-14-2010 and that again makes the character a big hassle to control most ppl dont even use all basic attacks during a fight (lemme count punch super run jump dash - 5) let alone 11 more additional ones that pop up especially when you start hammering your keys randomly balancing all of them will be hard make one too good and it will turn into the only punch a player will ever perform makes all the other ones pretty questionable, including the originals RE: alternate punches - Bamboori - 03-14-2010 that's up to the char dcer, isn't it? eg you could make some quick, weak attacks and some very slow but strong ones. remember that many popular fighting games (smash bros for example, jump ultimate stars) use also quite a few different normal punches and they are still balanced.
