RE: my first sprite - Bamboori - 10-30-2010 i notice that you use "pillow shading", that means you shade from outside (dark) to inside (bright). that doesn't look good. try >this< tutorial to try a "normal shading", meaning you have a imaginary source of light. RE: my first sprite - joncisLT - 10-30-2010 i try bamboori to this tutorial and this is my resultant
RE: my first sprite - Lauli - 10-30-2010 Hey, a lot better! Another thing you might want to consider is using not such vivid colours. Here, the shirt is very saturated, same with pants and shoes. It's not something you would wear. Try to use grey, or grey-ish colours too. Also, make "bigger" hair. If you compare this sprite to LF2 chars, then you'll probably notice, that your sprite doesn't have any "back" hair. Keep the spriting going, you're pretty good already! ;) RE: my first sprite - Marshall - 10-30-2010 The improvement that you've made within today is absolutely shocking and I salute to you on that. RE: my first sprite - joncisLT - 10-31-2010 i done one more and happy helloween
