Can't, distributing the full Minecraft sourcecode is not allowed ^^'
If you own Minecraft though, you can the sourcecode by yourself, even me (==nub) could extract it with the right tool.

Btw, i'm making progress on implementing various Furnaces...

RE: Decompiling Java - Boop - 02-22-2011

You know anyone can download minecraft, without owning it right :p?

http://www.minecraft.net/download.jsp

Anyway, last time I checked minecraft was obfuscated. What ever you did to get the "source code" probably involved a bunch of people spending hours writing scripts and stuff to deobfuscate it :\, and it's not the real source code :p... just peoples interpretation of it. All identifiers are made up :p.

Edit:

Also : http://mineserver.be that is way cooler than the original server. It's written in C++ instead of java so it doesn't have the worst possible performance ever.

That downloads are just the outdated Pre-Beta versions no real person is using anymore XD
And no problem about the obfu thingy, some guys released MCP on the Minecraft forum, a quite capable deobfu-thingy

At least it works for me :D

RE: Decompiling Java - Boop - 02-22-2011

No, that actually is the latest version :p. It just won't download any jar files into AppData/.minecraft without you being a premium user :(. Wasn't always the case though since I remember being able to play without pirating it or paying, just couldn't play online :p.

Edit:

vv : i dont mean the classic version...

You can still. The old Classic versions are free to play ^^ Even a Multiplayer Version. (dunno link)

Though Beta > Classic :P

RE: Decompiling Java - TheNave - 02-22-2011

I didn't buy the game and can still play it offline, i got the client and when I open it it downloads all the latest update sh*t, and on the login screen I type random names and passwords, and then a popup says "wrong password blabla, want to play offline?" and when you click yes you can play without ever buyin that game...
singleplayer only, though

RE: Decompiling Java - Bamboori - 02-22-2011

@nave: almost same here, dled it with my friends account and play offline :D wanna buy though, online multiplayer just pwnz.

@actual block requests: id love to see an additional instrument or two for the note block :D like on diamond it will make an electric guitar sound

RE: Decompiling Java - TheNave - 02-22-2011

@up
awesome idea
I love the note blocks, I made a doorbell which kind of plays the first few notes of the old super mario background music :D

RE: Decompiling Java - Simoneon - 02-22-2011
