You can't. That is the point of 2.0a, to allow people to play without messed up sprites. The mirrored sprites exist for the sole purpose of fixing this problem. That is the fix to the problem. To use mirrored sprites. You cannot use 1.9c with a computer that cannot flip sprites because it's impossible. That is why marti added flipping spirtes in 2.0a. He added them to fix the p̳̳̽͋ṛ͚͋̌o͉̞͗̇b̡͕̽̚l̡̙̂̽è̯͈͆m̜̤̌̏ with sprites. You cannot play without mirrored sprites because it is impossible. When you try to run it without mirrored sprites it cannot flip them. It's impossible. It's too late. The center cannot hold.
