RE: blaze - Nyamaiku - 12-16-2013 (12-16-2013, 03:32 PM)onikage Wrote:wow, the animation is really smooth...so how many frames did you used? this might be a problem when coding though, since it will be really slow with all the frames(even with all wait:0), and getting even slower when the attack lands a hit(hit lag) RE: blaze - YinYin - 12-16-2013 That's where frames will be dropped in favour of speed. Just like Davis' D>A - it skips frames from the sheet too. RE: blaze - onikage - 12-16-2013 well in any case some frames could be discarded from the animation when needed, the first punch has 6 frames: also, i tried to remove frame#2 and frame#4 check out the animation now: original---------edited RE: blaze - Nyamaiku - 12-16-2013 i would suggest trying to animate this sequence(4 frames only): 3-5-6-1 1 frame start up, punch, fist still sticking out, then pull back RE: blaze - Siegvar - 12-17-2013 RE: blaze - onikage - 12-17-2013 thanks for pointing that out, fixed and included in the new animations (; also, update: punch2 punches cycled RE: blaze - TamBoy - 12-17-2013 The char looks AWESOME! hope you will have the motivation to finish it. I got no suggestions, your sprites are awesome, remind me frozen sprites of siegever. and I like the idea of more frames for more swift animation, but it makes the spriting of the base sprites much more harder, so think about it. RE: blaze - onikage - 12-18-2013 thanks for the support (; update: elbow slam to the ground (supposed to come after AAA) RE: blaze - Nyamaiku - 12-18-2013 (12-18-2013, 03:22 PM)onikage Wrote: elbow slam to the ground (supposed to come after AAA)looks nice, but the attack range seems too short. maybe you can make it a little more like Julian's or make him move his leg to step forward RE: blaze - Draya Vartaila - 12-18-2013 Yeah looks not very good, he should work much more with legs, move forward, and the punches can have more distance, it doesn't look strong now. |
