As EXG9 pointed..arms are weird.
Elbows have to low stance(now they are at waist level).. viz, that makes upper part of arms too long..
Other things seems to look fine.

Guys, guys. I'm having a revelation here!!
I always thought the armor in his hip area would be some sort of funky metal skirt. But I never saw it like a belt with two leg pieces!
I'm blown away!
Oh and, also, give him a little more armor on his hands, like he has in the sprites.
Edit: And that diagonal end (?) of the cape looks good, I like that.
Keep working on the picture, it'll look great!

your louis drawing: i would like a darker shade color in his neck area to make it more distinguishable from the rest. And clearer shapes overall would be awesome, now they look too smudged (?). I am too much into anime to love something which is not drawn with clear lines and edges, so i won't comment on that.

Cool design!
Its very original.I only have to complain that armour doesnt work like that.
The lower leg piece should be up to the knee and the upper leg piece should be attached to it with a joint piece. This way, the armour protects the whole leg.
There is also suppose to be a metal plate covering the back of the hand with smaller pieces protecting the knuckles. He can then throw a powerful punch without breaking his hand. XD
Drawing-wise, cape will looks better if its a bit longer imo. And the part of the cape that goes around his neck should be outside of the neck piece. (so it wont choke him haha.) In the drawing, it looks like it goes both ways as if it has a tear in it.

V:Lauli - The round part is the joint. the rectangular part is attached to the waist piece instead of around the leg. Gad changed the design and i was critiquing to his design.

The idea with the leg armor sounds reasonable to me, but the sprites tell otherwise.
