Hmmm, looks a bit filterized to me. You know, the layer-effects-bevel&emboss-thing. I'd go for a natural look, though; right now it looks a tad flat. Add some texture to it!

here is my coloured version... sucks but oh well...
His Cape, Cowl, Gloves and Boots are black so he can still hide in the shadows when he covers his body with his cape

yo phil you're not online on skype, so I wanted to say that there is a line between his legs and his pants that has a strangely highlighted line below it
Also the shoes miss a shape and the hair misses a texture
I love the feeling though, he looks so dorky and happy and all is animated and well but really, he has an inner beast

@apoc: looks great, love the shading and all. I wish you done a full drawing but meh, still awesome. Also a good idea for a sprite
might try it later. @bashcrazy: it looks good aswell, like a batman spiderman combination super hero theme must be your power point since ur a comic heroes fan.
