Uh, I know it's already answered but let's give it a try:
Snow doesn't really have a colour, because it's out of water. And since water is (about) transparent, snow should have the same colour. It only appears to be white, because the crystals are very fine-detailed.

What about:
We only see colours because things reflect certain parts of the light. Therefore snow hasn't any colour at all, only the ability to reflect (nearly) all the light.
