Its good to see so many entries after so long, and to see that they're all being rather adventurous in their attempts, not sticking to convention too much.
However, this is one round where its very difficult to pick a winner because nearly none of them managed to revamp AND improve the sprite, and those which did only managed marginal improvements.
Or perhaps that's merely a testament to Luti's skill as a spriter.
Anyway, I ended up voting for Alec. Pose needed quite a bit more work, but the rendering for the blades, belts and shoulder pads showed the most improvement over the original.
Didn't vote for Luti coz the revamp strayed too far from the original, I had always thought they were 2 separate sprites until I saw it being included in the poll.

That's a good attempt there, shows some good practice with shading and form, but it does not show any good spriting principles or techniques, its more of a brute force render than anythingelse.
Anyway, its not all lost effort. That practice will come handy when you go back to spriting normally, I'm sure.

@sieg: Thank u so much. Actually i wanted to do lotsa pose training. Cause, i got standing sprites to some-what good condition. And, the one i posted was incomplete (meh i have my exams

lol i was doing something else at the same time and accidentally voted for myself...my votes should've gone to alec and pf...so i doubt it's possible to change it but if it's possible to count it in the final (and discounting for me)...
there should be a "change" or "undo" -vote button
