Another quick edit: No, Naruto is not a mod. It is a TV show, just like Star Wars is a movie. I don't see anyone having problems with more than one Star Wars mod.

the very basic idea is: this is a forum dealing with lf2.
the little more detailed idea is: keeping the lf2-community alive.
and now the question related to it: how are you gonna keep the community alive?
Well, there are different approaches. One is the following: a common enemy. Well, Naruto-lovers themselves aren't necessarily our direct enemies, but you can see them as such, if you want to :P
Another one? Besides a common enemy, you need "fresh air". Get something new. Creating new mods / characters / backgrounds... anything! And you must admit, the productivity increases the more active members are here.
Not that this thread becomes a little flaming debate like some others but I just wanted to present you some fact speaking AGAINST a naruto-rule.
By the way, my approach is the following (based on MH's first suggestion and kept minimalistic): create another projects-forum called "Mod-editing" or something like that. Any mod, that has been created by using an existing mod as the basis should go in there. As pretty much every Naruto-mod has something in common with each other, they'd directly go in there. This could be also used to prevent people from "spamming" the forums with projects like "The Reinforced Combined Effort LF2" or "The Better Targaros", instead, such projects are to be posted in a section which can be disabled by each user individually (user group etc.).

hypermodder..just dont go to the naruto mods if they bother you..no one forces you to look at them..just ignore them.....your ackting like we are grabbing you and making you read the naruto mods...you dont have to look at it..so just dont...(just close this thread please...there was no point in this thread and if he dosent like them.....dont look at them or go to a different site because i guarrentee you that at least 98 out of 100 sites you go to will have ATLEAST one naruto mod so just get over it hypermodder i mean have you even made a mod to begin with?(I'm not insulting him i'm just proving a point)
edit: zxcv11791 I know mine isnt I'm starting from scratch(template) and I think a few are like that NSLF2....they started that mod again....and all they did was change the sounds and a few moves(and they still stole your sai)

there's one way i think that would really help. needs 2 thingies.
1 - a forum watchlist, so like you can select the topics you want and say "Add to watchlist", and after that just click on "Watchlist" and you'll see all the forums that you've added there.
2 - a new threads list, which in my ignorance may already exist (forgive me if it does), and so here's where you can check if there's any new topics that are up that you may want to see.
I wouldn't think that's very practical coz that means the forum gets all these add-ons i'm sure it probably would cause some sorta clash/crash sonner or later. yes i do find it a bit annoying to scroll through all the projects coz i'm not interested in them (I don't have the time to comment in every single thread). In the officials I used to do that (last year, when maybe 3~5 threads were active in each section).

thingy is, everyone here are now younger than what the lf2 community used to be, and so they have more incentive to bring in what they like that is somewhat related to lf2. being younger, they're probably not as experienced in creating computer-related stuff.

the other group are people who don't like the extreme "change" that the first group are bringing in (i.e. naruto-lf2 totally changes what lf2 looks like). and apparently this change is kinda flooding the front page of the projects discussion page. me being me, kinda ignore them now (though i will look @ them if someone pms me about sth).
hm. just realised that it's kinda only the projects board that's the source of the problem.
someone continue this (gotta go)
actually, re-checking the projects forum, the first page doesn't have that many naruto (related) projects, so some people do have to learn to tolerate stuff.

Uh... to tell the truth, this is starting to become a fight if u ask me. At one direction HM is getting toasted and at the other direction theres the naruto guy with the long username getting baked.
Well.... Azriel's doing a good job and I like his idea. It'll solve the problem. Or u can have my idea that'll really solve the problem. That is: Azriel's idea! This thread is getting out of hand and should end up with the naruto thread ( which is driving HM mad sent to the games section. No postcount and no nothing. So MH, to end this rubbish u should just throw the thread to the games section and lock this one. It'll block the users ( HM and Naruto) from beating eachother up in the forums.
