Hmm, not quite sure if it's cloth or armor he's wearing... If it's something metal-ish, try adding some harsher highlights

As for the legs, it's confusing as to which one is closer to the viewer. The position of his right one suggests that that is the one being in the foreground. However, his left leg reaches further to the bottom, creating the illusion of it being at front. Guess that could be worked on as well.
Can't spot any other obvious flaws

I like that sprite,Shading way to simple(you can do better),i dont like boots shading of one boot is different from other boot.
