Took me 3 months. Me going to use a lot of libraries so I only have to program the core... which I try to make it extremely fast... like 3000 characters on 1 screen and still fast... RE: [lf2 remake] update 3rd July 2008; video 23rd July - Azriel - 09-17-2008 so, there's a huge problem with the platforms. when u have different bdys, you may intersect a platform object by just standing there, so when u try to walk, you'll appear on the opposite side of the platform as it reads that you are trying to go into it from the left. If u check only the right boundary when u're walking >, and the left boundary if you're walking <, some weird bugs happen (my guy stopped standing on the wall and went to the other side). plus, this is just 1 dimension, so 3 dimensions makes it much harder... I mean, one for interacting with other characters and attacks, and a second one for platforms (which pretty much doesn't change at all so that you don't get these buggy things).
