I'll stick to one style when I'm good enough. (Which is probably gonna be never. :P)
I also thought the ice was a bit wierd at first, but soon decided it could be a pretty novel idea... aliens having the technology or innate ability to defy the laws of thermodynamics... thus... ICE CRYSTALS!!!!! or.. I dunno.
Even though the stereotype of advanced civilisations is that they always seem to manipulate pure energy of some form unrecognisable to us humans... who says we have to even be able to see it! maybe it physically manifests as a phenomenon similar to something we are more familiar with... like... ICE CRYSTALS!!!!
but.... the ice crystal is probably a bit anti-climatic? seems abit too small... too solid... like he just took an ice cube out of the refrigerator and held it in his hand... rather than it sprouting from his fingertips.

Taking that into consideration, it wasnt originally intended to be Ice crystals, but i suppose it doesnt matter too much :P

i like alec's the most I feel like he took a gamble and reimagined the sprite instead of redoing it nicer plus it looks great. PF, Sieg, and Luti's is also pretty awesome because they look so dang good.

Alectric - you know whut i come to love about ur spriting (it's nothing rly technical but) its your originality that makes it soo kewl and it usually gives me a creepy smile. Your new interpretation of the alien is a totally better outcome, the face gives a clear message (well done), shading is badass as usual, as mentioned before ice-crystal doesn't rly fit with alien powers but it goes well with a kewl effect which is what i think you were intending...but meh whatev's still good +1
Siegvar - you never cease to amaze me, or maybe it's because im easily amazed @ amazing things. +1
Doj - unfortunately, the sprite was a downgrade from your usual however i don't think i have ever seen an animation from ya, and I think that effort alone won me over, next time sprite it bigger than re-size it to your desired look, and don't make girls look too manly it was a bit of a put-off...remember that
prince-freeza - haha, beautifully done you can definitely tell it was you by how you highlighted strokes and characteristics + breathing +1
DesignHeaven - although it was a kewl pose, keep it in terms of LF2 perspective...just for comparison, unusual interpretation, looks more like a hairy yeti warrior but you generally met my overall satisfaction
Apocalipsis - oops your not here, meh whatev's
sorry guys but...
Whaat - template body seems a little weak even if it's a template, gif would have been executed nicely if there was enough room to execute it nicely (think about woody's tiger dash) if the width had been wider and a bit taller for the jump and not just a small hop may have gotten more votes that way. I felt it could have been fixed easily...
Monolith - unfortunately, this didn't go very well for me. shading seems good but there were a few weird things that were distracting, expanding the shoulder blades, tedious hairline design, odd mask layout, & awkward pose. Even with the glow (which was nicely done) it still failed to satisfy my need of liking it
Jerkington - too skinny and small, work a little bigger so u get a better room to sprite things...everything was scrunched up too closely & well i hafta say it, the grenade looks like a snowball
LutiChris - you didn't do breathing & your winning, shame on you
Daymio - without the harlequin right next to him i couldn't recognize it, it just looks like a reaper of death or something along those lines...i think the hat in YinYin's was the most important thing that everybody can relate to...without it, it's just well empty like a ghost

i don't think she looks manly so. okay her shoulder is bigger as normal
in fact i wanted beeya sprite again... but the timeline was over yet
