Yoooooooo, seems like LFE was down yesterday, so we'll just proceed today, shall we?

So, without further ado, the poll results are as follows:

So, first things first, Anon 1 and @Arcane will advance to the finals. I'll come to the third place in a second. At the same time, Anon 3 misses 1 vote to enter round 3. As explained in post #1, I will reveal the names of those who drop out. So, Anon 2 of last round is the same as Anon 3 this round and he is nobody else than... @Cabba:

Now, as for the third contestant in round 3! One went through the round 1-elimination, the other submitted his first entry in this round. Unfortunately, though, he does not quite meet the criteria to reach the final round (more precisely, it's the only extra entry (2 needed) and less votes than the third place of round 1 (got 5 but needed at least 8)). So, sorry about that, but @Mono drops out as quick as he came:

That means, Round 3 will be the battle between @Arcane and two anonymous participants! And the theme is open to pretty much anything:


Requirements (Round 3):
  • Create a new sprite according to the theme: TRIPLE SPRITES
  • Size: normal-size (80px or 100px).
  • As the theme implies, you are to create three individuals that may interact with each other.
  • Animations are not required but are welcome.
  • One entry per participant.
  • The winner of this contest will be determined in a popular poll.
  • Post your entry in this thread. If you wish to remain anonymous during submission- and voting-phase, you may as well send the entry to me via Private Message; I will then add your name after the voting phase.
Please submit your entries before Wednesday, April 12th!!*
*if all participants are okay with this we can end this prematurely when all entries are in. Please notify me as soon as you can.

bummer, i enjoyed the first round and wanted to keep spriting for fun, but had no time to sprite a proper entry for the second theme :P, congratulations to the winners and good luck :)

First thought looking into this thread : sh*t there's been a contest happening and I didn't submit an entry !!
Second thought after looking at the entries so far : sh*t I had no chance, there's no way I could've done something that creative.

Got asked whether I could post this one in here. Not a valid entry (didn't participate successfully in the previous rounds) but the spirit is there!

If anybody else wants to submit something, feel free to do so. You're always welcome, in fact, to send in a sprite that matches the criteria of the round, it's just that your submission will not go up on the poll. Nevertheless, at this point it's more about the spriting-spirit anyways :p


I iterate this once more, this one is not going to be voted on, the creator merely wanted me to submit it for the sake of it.
