RE: The Quick Quiz (revived) - Bamboori - 06-27-2010 E) RE: The Quick Quiz (revived) - lf2TimmE1 - 06-27-2010 when u would just pick a and b as optional answers of course b= 50% would be the correct answer...same if u pick b and d as optional answer but that wouldn't be logical at all cause normally optinal answer are in a alphabetical order. or not? RE: The Quick Quiz (revived) - Ramond - 06-27-2010 lol, I actually don't get what logic you guys are following. (I'm not saying it's simple) RE: The Quick Quiz (revived) - TheNave - 06-27-2010 it's 100%, 'cuz it's a multi choice question, so you can choose all answers which makes your chance of getting the correct one 100%, easy as that RE: The Quick Quiz (revived) - Ramond - 06-28-2010 no... RE: The Quick Quiz (revived) - Magnamancy - 06-29-2010 Question 116 (5 points): ![]() It's a logical paradox. Traditionally, a Multiple choice question will have four pick-able options, normally assigned the values of A, B, C, and D for ease of later marking. Again traditionally, only one of these is correct, 1/4 = 25%. But this question gives you to answers that say 25%, A and D, making the chance of picking the right answer 2/4 = 50%. Only 1 answer however gives you the 50% option, B, so the chance of picking the right answer is 1/4 = 25%. AND THEN Ramond says we don't have to pick A, B, C, or D. Because he enjoys breaking people's will. All of the answers are right and wrong. RE: The Quick Quiz (revived) - Ramond - 06-29-2010 ^ That would be it, but not what I'm looking for. Don't think yourself in this question.
RE: The Quick Quiz (revived) - Magnamancy - 06-30-2010 Hang on... There's 29 words, singular letters and numbers in the question, and if I choose an answer at random what are the chance that I will be correct? 1/29? RE: The Quick Quiz (revived) - Ramond - 06-30-2010 lol, ... can't believe that the direction of this quesiton is turning topsy turvy haha |
