RE: just_a_phil-styled lf2 chars - prince_freeza - 08-22-2010 ya know i liked the old version much better... you must have been in shape back them ;P RE: just_a_phil-styled lf2 chars - Alectric - 08-23-2010 the strap on his body should be slightly moved to the left, otherwise it looks like he has a big stick coming out of his pants :P RE: just_a_phil-styled lf2 chars - The Lost Global Mod - 08-24-2010 tried to fix most of it.. can you starting from this point on.. tell me exactly what to fix. I fail at seeing if i don't know what exactly is wrong. (for example look at leccy's post) ![]() i still don't like it. help needed =) RE: Phil's mading spriteness - Marshall - 08-24-2010 maybe shade it a bit more? I know the shirt design is simple, but if you look at erm Bat, his maroon outfit has more shading than you currently do RE: Phil's mading spriteness - Alectric - 08-24-2010 The face looks much better than the original, so thumbs up there, but for the body/shoulder strap, to me, still looks quite like a stick. Perhaps making the strap curved like ( <that The Arms still look short, (mainly his left (our right) one) The front of his hair should have a bit more height. and finally, (as Marshall already mentioned the shirt) The shoes. Make the highlights cover more of the shoe, so it doesnt look as flat. RE: Phil's mading spriteness - Reaper - 08-24-2010 ^²I guess I have to agree again. His trousers could need a bit more shading as well. Also, they seem too wide for me. I'll just be using my favourite method: ![]() As you can see, their belts are at the exact same height. Bat however is almost one head shorter than your rep-char. Even if he is supposed to be bigger, you have to split the "added size" into legs and body. The rest seems fine to me. His head looks a bit small, but I believe that's caused by the body. Hair shading looks nice btw. RE: Phil's mading spriteness - The Lost Global Mod - 08-24-2010 shirt-wise i am still not really satisfied with it.. and just noticed that some hair is not natural.. but here goes anyways.. ![]() edit: woops didn't see you there reaper.
RE: Phil's mading spriteness - dubbleD - 08-26-2010 looking better but still room for improvement the right arm could look better if the body was sprited over a bit of the arm. so then the arm looks like its behind the body and making the character look like he's fully facing to the right. right now, the arm appears to have been turn and makes him look like his body is facing us but his head is looking the other way RE: Phil's mading spriteness - The Lost Global Mod - 08-08-2011 well it has been a long long time (at least more than two months according to that nice red bar there) here I go, I present to you: Phil v3 (i think) ![]() bigger version I actually worked on (Click to View)
RE: Phil's mading spriteness - DoIIIi - 08-08-2011 who is this guy? he's much to be coarse detailed - see onto highres otherwise i like the shading. the colors looks fresh. mhm.. let try a revamp for that ![]() |
