You really like colors and colorful images, aren't you?
I do really like color palette for first concept, but for the second one i would choose different color from light green for the hair. Maybe that blue color you used down on the legs... Blue fits with orange very well..

Yeah ofc, i do like colorful images without colors it would all look so gray and dark and meh...
maybe i will change the color but i will probably stay with a greenish one :P

It resembles me of female character, probably because of his tinny waist and feminine eyes. I guess you could work on that a bit more
