By ''simple'' he didn't mean that you should make only one or two edits. He meant that you shouldn't add all sorts of effects and stuff on it >__> and now what do we have? Zeus? A young Zeus who has lightnings also on his legs? Seriously wtf is this D: If you guys don't have any ideas, you don't have to edit the sprite to be worse.

That's pretty much the same thing as ''don't only recolor'', it isn't the same as ''give him tail, beard, wings, powers of fire and lightning with some water''.

If you want to add effects my suggestion is they should be done towards the end
effects often will block another users chance of editing certain parts near the area thats been effected
this will leave us more room to work with if we don't use the effects, until the very end.

please do that. Discussion is good, but separate showcasing your edits and the discussion in two threads.
This way you can also give others a way to improve by commenting on their sprites in THE discussion thread.
