quality chars - the mad maskman - 09-06-2016
Hello everyone! there are a lot of modified lf2 chars, bur only a few fit in lf2.
by fitting in lf2, i mean:
1- they are as strong as the original lf2 chars.
2- they have lf2ish sprites.
3- their data must match their sprite( a little energy ball shouldn't make 300 damage, no, actually it doesen't matter if it's little, shouldn't anyways, bdy shouldn't be misplaced,...)
what i do suggest: if anyone thinks that a char fits those conditions, post it, and i will add it to this post.

WARNING:
batman's batmerang and the EX file that comes with leo silva's char have id clash, so having both of them in the same time is impossible without some easy data changing. i'd recommend changing the id for the batmerang, rather than changing the id of the EX file, because 7 chars use it, and only batman uses batmerang
those are the ones i tested so far, if you have any suggestions, feel free to post, and if you want to remove something from this list, just post too.

I think bashcrazy' cool Batman should be in the list He fits in he has normal powers not heavy attacks which gives 300 damage,by the way what are gonna to with them?

they are here for people who are searching interresting chars, and i imagine that this will help them. if everybody posts a char or 2 we will have a huge collection. btw could you give the link to batman? and if you like any other char, please post it here, as long as it fits the conditions

i just tested him. he's great. even thought sprites could be better he still is great. but there is a problem. why do his batmerangs freeze opponents? I'm sure that batman never froze someone with a batmerang. anyway i added him. do you have another idea?
edit: is it useful if i rate them? something like:

clide could be found on yinyin's page, like leo, jason, beeya and others, so he's already there. stinky isn't that interresting, but i will add him as he fits in lf2. steiner is a bit overpowered, it depends on how you play him. for example, if you use fully charged hadoukens, and simply spam them(they don't take that much mp) he is as strong as julian, maybe stronger. if you try simply using normal hadoukens and teleporting, he is balanced. it sill is a quality char and he fits in original lf2. frozen is GREAT. he has got great sprites, balanced moves, and could fight at long, close, or mid range. for skiled players, there are also evasive moves, that(when mastered)could change the game. Nino is amazing too. he's great at close range with various combos, that chain easily, and when mastered, could win against any opponent. thank you for those anyways.

I am testing zack and walker now. zack is balanced, complete, and has good sprites. his attacks don't have a very long range, but they deal enough damage to not make him under powered. I didn't like his gravity attack, as it simply pulls the enemy to you without any damage, but it has defensive utility as it could also stop any type of energy balls(even julian's!). oh, and he also comes with a great background. walker is a meelee char. his sprites are good but incomplete, as he still has the body of louis and davis in 2 of his attacks. he is still in beta, so there is hope that it could get better, it's got potential. most his attacks are defense based, as he can grab the enemy, he's got a counter move, and could create an illusion of himself while he retreats backward. but he's got a buggy attack. i don't know what is his dva is supposed to do. he takes a defensive stance, there is the burned state smoke and that's all. i thought it was a counter move but it isn't. i tried to attack it with energy balls, normal punches, he just takes the like normal. i don't think he is that great but as i said before, he could improve. I will add both. thanks for them stm.

I finally found him!
Lodan by ariel, he manipulates gravity. great sprites, great ideas, good moves, but he doesen't have much combos.
go to first post to download. for now, my favourites are steiner, lodan and 2fast(from gad's mod).

You should include Harlequin by bashscrazy(sry if i spelt his name wrongly).The character is balanced and not overpowered in my opinion.
