Little Fighter 2 Wemake (Open Source Web-based LF2) Modified at 2026-02-01 - gimholg - 01-06-2026

I've also made a remake version of LF2. Everyone is welcome to give it a try.

Play on https://lf.gim.ink/

Why is it called Wemake instead of Remake? (Click to View)
the data and pictures are processed and converted from the LF2 2.0a.

The advantages are as follows:

- Ideally, the game update frequency is 60 frames per second, which makes it look more fluent.
- Full-platform support (of course, this is due to modern browsers and technical standards).
- Touch-screen support
- The game's input method is different from that of LF2, and no key presses will be missed. (You can even press the 'right' twice in the same frame, and the character can still run...)
- Support higher-resolution textures.

The shortcomings are as follows

- Since the logic is implemented according to my own understanding(and some tutorial for modifying), many things are quite different from the LF2.
- Only VS Mode and Stage Mode are supported, with hardly any other modes
- The bot is a bit stupid

That's pretty cool!
The increased fps makes a difference. Do you think it'd be possible to release some converting tool to turn character mods of the original game to your version?

Yes, actually, my game data was converted by using my tool.
I think I'll be able to release the tool soon.

Moreover, I've recently implemented the online multiplayer function (which isn't fully tested yet).
At that time, I'll also release the online multiplayer server.

(Although I've deployed an online multiplayer server on my own, its performance is relatively poor. Also, since it's in China, the connection quality for everyone probably won't be very good.)

Game runs slow for me on Windows 11 Chrome. According to you it should run 60 fps?

Besides that, this is a great thing for LF2.

Sorry to hear that... by the way, what's the configuration of your computer? Is it a laptop or a desktop? If it's a laptop, try plugging it in the power supply.

===================================================================

Or... Type in "gim.ink"(just as you type in "lf2.net" in lf2), You'll see a development panel.

Then click the button in the red circle in the following picture to make it display "Synchronous Rendering (x0.5)".

Due to laziness, the development panel doesn't support languages other than Chinese yet. Shock

I've got a desktop computer. Ryzen 5 5600x, 32gb DDR4 ram, nvidia 3060Ti.

It runs better with the 0.5 option you have shown for me to use. Flickers between 13-17 fps. It is smooth, wouldn't say it is 60 though. But regardless I am glad this exists. I hope you can keep working on it in your own pace.

It's quite strange. I don't know why either. Maybe I'll check it in the future. Anyway, thank you for your attempts and feedback. :D

Wonderful remake man, really good job! It's definitely fun to play. There are some fine-tuning issues with the fighting system but you're very close.

I've tested it on my Macbook Pro with Safari, and with an Ipad Pro + Keyboard. Both work very well.

Yo bro, I also gave a try to run your server on my VPS server, it's stuck on connecting though. Does it work for you?
