Lil question ... why do you want to start a poll ?! Just try all of the programmes we spoke about and find out with which one you can work best :confused: (lol crappy sentence)

honestly, I must say that if there was Flash, I'd have voted for it :P
Since it isn't there, I'll take just my favorite graphics program: PS

PHOTOFITER > PHOTOSHOP!

I have both and i have to say:

PHOTOFILTER is better to handle and better for making lf2-sprites!

You can do pretty much more in photoshop, faster and easier than in photofilter. Depending on how pro you are.

i like gimp and paint, gimp is too light and very easy to work.
i use and recommend

I used to do most stuff in MSPaint, but when my mother told me we had a Photoshop disc, i installed it immediately. So it´s Photoshop for me ^^

I did say that it is good to start of with PhotoFiltre, because you will soon get a basic spriting skill. (But it is always a lesson to try to sprite in paint. I actually did that for a while, and it's very hard but it will teach you important basics.)

Later on, Photo Shop will probably be the best choice.
