how can i make an explosion ( well kinda) which is invisible without creating another object

you mean the effect is like firens or julians explosion but you don't see any column? copy the frames, change the numbers and the next-values and change pic: to 1000, then opoint out the new first frame...

I guess you forgot about that part :P
Well, you just need the itr used in Julian's explosion thingy (or something like that), put it into your character file and that's it.
I just don't understand why you don't want this in a new object...

erm, thats why I told change the frame numbers. I expected to copy it in teh same dat.-file but later frames :p

but maybe I can't expect all to know there's no need to create a new dat.-file for explosions :p
