This one i made a year ago for an ex
I used to buy things for yours truly
they were all but fleeting flat complexions
I was draining inside
almost wondering how pointlessly mundane things seemed to be
And then you came along
A curious anomaly
unlike the election, i just didn't see it coming
for too long i was denied
almost gave up hope but now i can't wait to see
With thoughts and ideas similar to my own
A bombshell that made me eager to profuse
I once again acquired a purpose
Our magical interaction sparked a powerful ardor
I was under a trance
I had moments of doubt
but it was quickly drowned out
by the persuasive hymn you so generously took the time to disclose
