How to add Luke? - Tomps - 12-22-2008
I'm sorry if I'm such a n00b, but I want to know this. I do the beginning like with all the others, but then when I need to put something to the data.txt file, it doesn't work.
id: 29 type: 0 file: sprite\luke\luke.dat
id: 360 type: 3 file: sprite\luke\luke_ball.dat
... file: sprite\luke\luke... <- there is my problem what I exactly do? I tried to understund the advises at the "installation", but I didn't get it ;D.
Also there is two data files with the pictures, do I do something to them?
please explain step by step from the beginning so I could understund (i'm so freakin' stupid with these things

Copy paste those two lines into the data.txt
EDITED.
Okay I just downloaded and checked it my self. I can see why you are confused.
After adding the two lines to your data.txt just copy paste the sprite and data folders into your main lf2 folder. Windows will give you some message about the folders already existing etc, just press Yes/Ok . Done.
Sorry again, probably should of downloaded it before telling you how to do it.

Yea. I saw it and now it works BUT there is a grey "box" with little arrow head in it under every "object" when I play. Why is that?

Restart LF2. It's just a random bug which sometimes appears.

I done it in another way. I copied data.txt lines liked u were supposed to but I got the folder of luke and put it in the sprites folder. Not in sys but in sprites folder. It worked fine and no grey arrow problem. I used 1.9c for it. Anything different in 1.9 and 1.9c?

I tell you, it doesn't work. But when I remove luke from the game, the boxes arn't there anymore. Is there something in the Luke files that causes them? Also when I win battle and the stats apear, but there are no blue frames like normaly. There is only those freakin' boxes >: D!
