I think we should have some [hide][/hide] tags, for stuff like images (so it loads only if we click Show). solves the image heavy problem.

There isn't much stuff that is so important to require registration. I think it'd be a waste.
The [hide] tag, on the other hand, would be very useful.

erm, no offence, but I dont get the hide-tag.
I mean: if you want an image only to be available if you click it paste the link into post!? or did I get you wrong?

for example a discussion about a book, and if guys havn´t read it and see something special about story, they already know it and don´t have tenseness? (spannung) while reading the book later.
So before you write spoilers u can hide it with the spoiler funktion.

I completely agree with this function, and i'll show an example to explain to those who don't understand...

this shows the hidden form of these bars. However, by pressing the "spoiler" button, we show the content:

Now, notice that the "Website translators"-thingy has showed a window beneath it. That is the true power of the spoiler-tag :P
It has some similarities to the code-tag, but it completely hides the content unless you click it. and it does not ignore the grammar-rules that applies to the forums, like the code-tag does.

edit: wow, I really like this idea now. We could also use it for code-to hide it, so you can see it if you want but if not you can read text as usual...
