[hide] tags? - Azriel - 01-08-2009 I think we should have some [hide][/hide] tags, for stuff like images (so it loads only if we click Show). solves the image heavy problem. Azriel~ RE: [hide] tags? - sadbhav - 01-08-2009 you mean like spoiler tags ans stuff? yeah I support this idea. btw there should also be a tag [mem] This can only be viewed by registered members [/mem] tag RE: [hide] tags? - MnM - 01-08-2009 Ya that was a gud idead but using it would u benefit u in wat ways? RE: [hide] tags? - Evil Sonidow - 01-08-2009 There isn't much stuff that is so important to require registration. I think it'd be a waste. The [hide] tag, on the other hand, would be very useful. RE: [hide] tags? - MH-Razen - 01-08-2009 erm, no offence, but I dont get the hide-tag. I mean: if you want an image only to be available if you click it paste the link into post!? or did I get you wrong? the member-tag sounds good... RE: [hide] tags? - ~Dome~ - 01-08-2009 for example a discussion about a book, and if guys havn´t read it and see something special about story, they already know it and don´t have tenseness? (spannung) while reading the book later. So before you write spoilers u can hide it with the spoiler funktion. RE: [hide] tags? - SirFrog - 01-08-2009 I completely agree with this function, and i'll show an example to explain to those who don't understand... ![]() this shows the hidden form of these bars. However, by pressing the "spoiler" button, we show the content: ![]() Now, notice that the "Website translators"-thingy has showed a window beneath it. That is the true power of the spoiler-tag :P It has some similarities to the code-tag, but it completely hides the content unless you click it. and it does not ignore the grammar-rules that applies to the forums, like the code-tag does. RE: [hide] tags? - MH-Razen - 01-08-2009 ah, makes more sense now. SirFrog can you send me a pm with this thread you made the image from? WIll gotta look what I find for both during the weekend ... edit: wow, I really like this idea now. We could also use it for code-to hide it, so you can see it if you want but if not you can read text as usual... RE: [hide] tags? - MH-Razen - 01-11-2009 Here you go guys: Code: [spoiler]blablabla[/spoiler]Spoiler (Click to View) PHP Code: dsfg sdfg Quote:sfdg EDIT: I did it - in full-edit press the hide-button...Spoiler (Click to View) RE: [hide] tags? - ~Dome~ - 01-11-2009 Great Job =D fits in quite good. |
