LF2 Multilayered Server Public Beta - Chiko - 01-10-2009
I've built a server that can host multiple LF2 games at the same time
the key feature to this server is that it supports 4 players instead of 2
if you are interested in trying this server out contact me through PM and i'll give you my msn information
you may freely try this server out (will be hosting it today and tomorrow) for now no client side software is needed you just need an original copy of Little Fighter 2 V2.0 and just to connect to my server (server will do the rest)

Silva has already tested this in the IRC, and it makes online fighting funnier as more players can play!

however this is a more advanced version then the one you saw silva using as it supports multiple games at once and this will soon be integrated with a lobby server
The server has been upgraded!
Currently the server Supports 4 Players with automatic name entering (no more needing to add players names manually)
Plus the server also supports an 8 Player mode (only first 4 players will have their name entered automatically the other 4 will have to do it manually for now)
The application now requires client side software to support the full 8 players, i'll be adding extra features to the client side software and will notify when its ready for public testing

I need to find a bug with the script which shouldn't take long to fix and i'm currently looking into setting linux up on another pc so hopefully this weekend i'll have linux + bug sorted and can have the server running 247
then i'll spend time building the lobby website and will inform people of when its ready to go so yeah hoping to get alot done this weekend

The server has been...fully operational since i first posted...
the only thing holding it back is the site but its getting there i just have a shortage of time as i work fulltime i'll make a post when its ready for use
