[solved] special weapon attack? - thisnameowns - 01-19-2009 hello, im new here I've sprited for sometime now (but still sux ), but my DC skills are near zero. I'm working on a knife (with a different skin) that summons ninja stars when you attack. (so every character can have rudolfs basic attack) I've figured out how to summon another ball attack, but the thing is that i have no idea where to insert it. I've tried to put the lines in one of the "on_hand" frames, but somehow every character have different attack frames. So now i've ended up with a wep that would splash stars as the characters walk around. and btw, im wondering if anyone still has MH_razens platformer mod. the old one has expired a while ago help would be apperciated. TYVM RE: special weapon attack? - Silverthorn - 01-19-2009 I'm not sure, but you'd be probably best with when you put that opoint into multiple on_hand-frames, however, not into all of them. I don't know from the top of my head which ones you need, though. Just look into some characters' dat-files, and check the weaponact-value in their punch-frames (frame 61 and 66, I think). RE: special weapon attack? - thisnameowns - 01-19-2009 wow, those are fast replies... sorry for the late reply. i couldnt get to my computer (have exams tomrrow =( ). @ Razen: yes, i do mean lf2 2 levels. i dont really need it right now, but when u have time please upload @ topic: anyways, putting that in numerous on hand frames will just pretty much screw the whole game up. is there anyway when you press a specific key set (for ex, DJ) it "activates", or goes to a set frame where the star will be summoned? (like the gun weapons in lf2.5, although they dont work anymore after i copied the data/sprites into lf2 original) again, thanks a lot.
