Contest #2: Background Challenge - Silverthorn - 02-08-2009

2nd contest. This time:

Create a background

Requirements:
  • You can work as a team of 2 members
  • One entry per member/team
  • Screenshot required (no screenshot, no entry)
  • Download link
  • (not necessary but appreciated) any specialties of this bg
  • You must have created this Background within the last year (01/2008-now), not earlier
  • Installation instructions must be in a readme-file

Submit your entries before March 10th!!

Comments / advice about entries can be posted in here. If you want to submit a new entry although you have posted one already, I'd please you to remove the older version.

what about dynamic backgrounds? just a pity my best backgrounds are older :p

nah, what would I mean, lets guess...

something like Storm-Meteor Backgrounds? With Meteors falling from sky and lightnings?

that is allowed. I allow it to get the DCers in there, too :D

btw, you can work with a partner in case you only know DCing and need help with the graphics or the other way round ;)

all i am gonna say is
I AM IN!!!
i gotta give it a go!
ive done only 1 or 2 backgrounds but i think i can remember most of it!
this contest does narrow down the members who can do it becasue anyone can sprite a char (doesnt mean well)
but backgounds are tricky
my bet is that marshall or mugen win

I think he means that the bg can have any special effects like random fireballs falling from the sky or ground or something like that, right?
