well, you can upload everything to tinypic or something, then save the img links in a text file and then use those. course, there's a good chance of a plugin (why do i feel a poll coming up?). and smileys probably need to be all high q enough to replace the normal ones.

I go with Azriel. Have fun ! And probably BP or MH might get interested in replacing these similies. I always loved windows live mail smilies. They move around and are shiny ( that's the best part ) but they're a bit big ( that's the worst part ) .

This looks interesting to me, i recall someone making something like this in another forum(not lf2 related).
I'll give it a go since i could use this opportunity calm myself down.
Theres a possiblity I'll make my smilies animated though. Im not too fun of plain pics.

I remember we once had such a discussion quite like this - where some guys wanted to submit their own smilies in post, but it's just that easy:

Upload your image somewhere and use the img-tags to show it. Actually I don't really like the idea of replacing the standard smilies we just have - even if the "majority" in the poll say we should do it right now. These are quite neutral and common and fine for me
What I can do is search for something like a personal-smilie plugin, if something like this exists and work I can use it

I don't think I have ever used a smilie in a forum post... but on the other hand Razen I am pretty sure I did see something similar to what your talking about somewhere else, but sadly if you go in that direction you will prob. have to write your own code for it.
