well recently ive been working around with the 'Pet' dc'ing and stuff and unintentionaly made this character just for the heck of working around the stuff.
i'm still playing around with the data so dont expect quality. its just a crappy recolour sorcerer.

through sinow rappy's pet method theory, i got bored and tried my hand at this. credits to his painful process of figuring out how to get it.
ive made a mini angel that flies around the character. its supposed to aid the characters lack of attack and defence. so i was trying to get some moves working where you use the angel to buff yourself.

i changed the super_punch and run_attack so its not so bland at the least
move list: (for those who would like to try)
dja - summon angel pet which follows you. does small damage and reflects balls and weapons [can only have 1 angel at a time]
dva - summon bat which chases enemies and hurts them. reacts to movement so it will detonate on friend but wont hurt them. [can only have 1 at a time. spamming waste mp]
d^a - wave wand. [see what happens when you have angel]
d^j - incomplete. atm, i temporarily left it to heal you.

@MH-Razen: oh yeah MH i still havent got the timer thingy working. i slightly updated this dl so maybe you could try this one and see if it works on your lf2 unlike last time.

Hey! Actually, I thought of making a character with a similar idea...

To the character: It is actually kinda disapointing, since the sprites were bad... the only good thing was the run attack, because it was creative.
I think it was overpowered because of bat spam... The AI didn't stand a chance. I guess that's it.

well duh i know the sprites bad. no reason to state it again.
if i were concentrating on making a proper character, he wouldnt be this bad. im just experimenting the pet method and i made this just to experiment with the pet method.
as for the bat, i was trying other stuff but havent changed it yet. so yeah if its too strong then you'll have to go with it. btw, did i mention that only 1 bat could be out at a time? so spamming from a distance wont work.
and the run attack was made because during early making of it, i kept on dying when i was testing with AI. it was annoying trying to work the pet around during extra stuff while the bots kept on smashing it around.

ive had another idea. if anyone has heard of the popular warcraft 3 map 'Dota', then you might know what im talking about. theres this hero in dota called Kael, Invoker. he has 3 orb power up thingies. well basicaly there are 3 slots to have 3 orbs floating around. each orb has a buff. and you have skills to bring up these orbs. you also have Invoke skill which turns these orbs into a skill you have use. with different combinations of 3 orbs, you could gain different skills.
what i was thinking was using the pet method to create extra moves that can only be used via summoning these following balls. so far, ive had a slight mixup as to how to get 3 different balls via the same jan_chaseh.dat which i have now fixed up.


i wonder....should this be placed in Data Changing forum or stay in project?

That would give the character more depth...

this is an awesome inprovement over the previous version 8/10

you lost a point because i like sorceror original sprites better (but thats just me)

there is also a glitch that show up when an opposing characters is directly under the pet (while it is standing still) they get hit continuosly without falling until they die

simple suggestions

have you considered using itr effect 5 to hide the hitting sound the fairy makes when it hit you- i just cant image a fairy hits to be so loud

allow the fairy to hurt foe when you grab them (simple to do)

decreasing the fairy damage slightly while in its walking frame (i could easily beat 2 COM on crazy with this character)

lol previous version? its just an update. its obviously meant to be an improvement.
but anyway...
i wasnt actually focusing on the sprites (because im not that much of a decent spriter). its more about the fairy and the data. until now, i dont believe there is a character on the LFE mainsite that involves this data pet method (the fairy), let alone many characters seen with it. i know one of the admins here once made a character that had...firzens head and jacks body and had a pet dog, and another random guy who had recoloured firen with a dog from naruto

the glitch is not a glitch, i purposely made it hit enemies. and its doing the least amount of damage do-able with dc, 1 damage per hit.
oh wait...just checked the data, its 5 damage. ima change it to 1. thanx for that

for the effect 5, whatever, i'll use it but i actually dont play with sound so i dont know if any souunds are lacking or any additional sounds are bad.

allow the fairy to hurt enemies when i grab them? doesnt it already do taht? or do you mean make some more data so it will purposely attack grabbedd enemies?

btw, this character is really easy to use to defeat small amounts of enemies. try stage mode, maybe start with 5 and it might be harder :P
