My new character. - ryushin - 03-13-2009 Everyone else was making one, so i decided to. His name is Eric which is my name. I'm hoping my procrastination won't over power me on this one. Criticism expected. RE: My new character. - chase123 - 03-13-2009 It is okay but it is not shaded and not lf2 styled. RE: My new character. - Kiba - 03-13-2009 It's awesome but I hope you will create a intreting character RE: My new character. - XLittlebob252 - 03-13-2009 very nice but its like what chase123 said. RE: My new character. - XLittlebob252 - 03-13-2009 prince we dont have to reapet things 5 or more times... i think he got it... RE: My new character. - prince_freeza - 03-13-2009 sorry just reminding him. RE: My new character. - XLittlebob252 - 03-13-2009 you dont have to apologize... RE: My new character. - Silverthorn - 03-13-2009 ....and that stuff was also pretty redundant...... Anyways... You know, I made the same "mistake", too. Taking Template as a base makes things easier to sprite, yes, but therefore, the standing, etc..., looks weird. By any means, try to refrain from using Template for spriting. I don't expect you to do things from scratch, you can take a different character as a base. But not Template ![]() Other than that: as many before already mentioned, he looks a little flat. Shading is absolutely necessary if you don't want to create "Paper Mario LF2". Also, the light yellow hoodie and the light colored face are too close together. It's hard to see a difference. If you took green (just for an example), you'd get some really neat contrasts between the pants, hoodie, and face. Yea, all for now. |
