what about custom smilies? if you want a custom smilie u will have to post it in imageshack or somethin' and then copy the url into the site... and nobody does that coz it takes a plenty of time

so is it possible to make a shortcut for custom smilies like :, for [Image: snettleendeld9.png] or somethin' but that u can add the smilie and shortcut custom

I'm fine with the smilies we have, and, for whatever reason you need another one you'll probably need to add the img-tag. It won't kill you, I promise :p

I don't think we need smilies, it
a) requires a lot additional code (I guess) and
b) your posts are personal enough with your avi & siggy

a) no not really most forums allow the admins to do this, if not it's really simple scripting
b) yah i agree their's not much need for costum smilies maybe LF2 smilies like the oficial foum. i think it'll look very funky with a bunch of people making nasty looking smilies

Erm, sorry, just saw this thread quite late.

Well, I basicallsy agree with Blue Phoenix and azikary, and actually there's an easy way (in my opinion) to add new smilies to your post: just search for your smilie at sites like

http://smiliestation.de/
http://www.world-of-smilies.com/

(just google for smilies...)

then rightclick your smilie and copy img adress and put it here as imagecode, works perfect and you dont have to upload it somewhere... [Image: teu38.gif]
