I won't download the sprites of such a desciption... and i guerss many people won't, so you should maybe upload screens (as it is REQUIRED in the rules for this forum section).

That is surely one of the worst copy/paste i have seen up to now...
But...
it looks interesting somehow. Like you said, kinda of Cyber-Davis XD If he would fix the eyes and make that thing suitable for the entire spritesheets... would look good, i guess ^^
But he would have to redo all Template sprites (template_f =/= rest of template sprites) and he will surely not do...

Advice:
Use smooth lines and "obvious" pixels. It doesn't look good if there are messy pixels around the borders od template.

and please, if you want to be spriter you need to add SOMETHING!!!
template is just for DCers who can't do awesome sprites...
Result: bad sprites (just effected template) and no DC skills...
bad first looking...
