Stage Question

So i want to make for example:
1-1 lion forest
1-2 lion forest
1-3 lee on road
1-4 lee on road
1-5 Stanley Prison

you understand what i want? xD

For those who didnt understand:
i dont want to make ONE bg in a whole stage.

RE: stage question - TheNave - 03-28-2009

it's much more difficult as it seems...
you need to make all bg parts into ball objects, and then opoint them at the correct position with your stage.dat file

RE: stage question - snorsorbet - 03-28-2009

Perhaps a t3 object without any itrs or bdys and with the image for the background you want should do the job?
Of course, this method would remove all kind of depth in the BG, but that is the only solution a spriter without any practical experience of DC can think of...
EDIT: Darn it, TheNave! :D

RE: stage question - LilSteve - 03-28-2009

soo should i use a state:3000 ?
and should i make many frames or just one with wait:"long" and next: 999 ?

RE: stage question - LilSteve - 03-28-2009

LilSteve Wrote:you mean with a huge wait ^^

Actually, a very short wait that is linked to the same frame does the same job.
Error could be of a perhaps ridiculously long wait.

RE: stage question - LilSteve - 03-28-2009

nope same with short wait.....

RE: stage question - Silverthorn - 03-28-2009

I assume that the last object in you data.txt is "nback2_object.dat". After reading the data between <object> <nd <object_end> , the parser will read the backgrounds, although it doesn't show. I won't elaborate this now because it could be that my assumption is wrong in first place, so I want to ensure something first: is the displayed file-name the last one before <object_end> in data.txt?

RE: stage question - LilSteve - 03-28-2009

no the last one is id: 999 type: 5 file: data\broken_weapon.dat

edit: maybe i should post the dat of it....

Code:
<bmp_begin> file(0-0): bg\sys\nback2.bmp w: 793 h: 284 row: 1 col: 1 <bmp_end> <frame> 0 Appear pic: 0 state: 3005 wait: 5 next: 999 dvx: 0 dvy: 0 centerx: 40 centery: 41 hit_a: 0 hit_d: 0 hit_j: 0 <frame_end>
