Hi, I really have no idea what I'm doing, I'm not sure if this thread is even in the right place, but I want to create the character Link from the Legend of Zelda series. I'm not sure how to make the sprites, (but they give you some game-ripped sprites at zs.ffshrine.org) and I'm not sure whether I should just use those sprites. I don't even know how to create sprites, but I've looked at some of these tutorials. Help! Then there's the data changing T_T.
P.S. Don't expect me to answer back quickly, because I'm just trying this out as a new thing.

Well, you now have two choices:
1) You go on reading tutorials and try your best and ask for help if you have a concrete problem
or

Although I like the second option *has a big smile on his face*, I've one more: if you can sprite halfway decently then grab you a DCer out here and convince him to create a char with you, in this case, Link.
