[Source Code] Post Processing - Boop - 06-06-2009 Here is the source: http://www.mediafire.com/?to2mj155y1n You'll probably need Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 or something to compile, the express edition might work(I have the proper thingy, so I don't really know). It is released under the GPL v3 License, which basically means you can't release the dll without source code(to ensure that people don't make cool effects and then be *censored* and not release the source code for other people to use, despite the fact that others helped them make the effect work). PS: That is actually a gray scale thingy, which goes darker and lighter. I'll release the source code for color changing when I recover it(I wrote the gray scale thingy and saved over it, but I do have a backup *somewhere*). Anyway, this example is much simpler than the other one. I'll release the source code for rarara.dll when it is finished, right now it's not the ideal setup (right now you have to edit the exe to also load VCNETDLL.dll). When I release it, the only edit you'll have to make on your exe is to load rarara.dll Old Wrote: RE: Post Processing : Testers Needed - Ramond - 06-06-2009 I am downloading and will give you report via edit when I finish. EDIT: LOL, sweet sh*t, what was that? Anyways. Gameplay was a little slower than usual. fraps showed mostly 24, from time to time 23 and then rose to 30, back to 24 again and so on. So mostly 24 fps for me. RE: Post Processing : Testers Needed - Ascor - 06-06-2009 argh damn i can't load it because it requires a newer version of windows >: ( RE: Post Processing : Testers Needed - snorsorbet - 06-06-2009 Well, it does what it should do... I guess...... Not that it enhances gameplay. It could be a part of a special move or something to annoy the player being effected by it. (And I know, it won't effect AI.) What are you going to use it for? ![]() EDIT: The game is slightly slower, it's just so you can "see" that its' slower. But it doesn't ruin the gameplay the same way internet does it ^^ RE: Post Processing : Testers Needed - Boop - 06-06-2009 It's not really meant to enhance game play, just enhance the game experience ![]() ![]() It basically makes it possible to manipulate the pixels on the lf2 screen ![]() ![]() RE: Post Processing : Testers Needed - another_user - 06-06-2009 Ok, i tested it. Here are my results: I´ll start the exe. Everything work normal and with the correct speed, but if i start a game it is REALLY slow. It looks like 1 frame per 2 seconds. And after 5 frames this exe crushes. RE: Post Processing : Testers Needed - Silverthorn - 06-06-2009 ahahaha, epilepsy-alert! Maaan, that looks like some serious 70's-disco-fever. I'm gonna play with that exe my way through the survival (and after that my eyes will bleed :P)! Pretty interesting stuff, honestly, hope this will really bring you forward in doing stuff. That color-changing-thingy is just making me go nuts :P RE: Post Processing : Testers Needed - Alectric - 06-07-2009 my god...i am surprised i can post after that. rainbowness ftw thats pretty darn awesome silva. I would love to see some motion blur, maybe a lens flare? are you able to link this to char moves? like when julian does his D^J the screen fades purple and the back again? RE: [Source Code] Post Processing - Boop - 06-07-2009 Source code released! Check first post for updates. When I said motion blur is possible, I meant someone else can do it, not me ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: [Source Code] Post Processing - Zazz1 - 06-09-2009 So are transparencies possible? |
