[char] Cendrael - Reaper - 06-18-2009 Wow, has been a long time since I made my last thread in here. However, as I wanted to do a new char( and as the forum mod needs some more), I decided to make one. I named him Cendrael, like the Cen in my story. Don't know whether they are the same... Maybe. Some of you might have seen him in my sprites thread before. I made him a bit less thin and made the hair shading a bit stronger, but probably still not strong enough. I know he isn't really LF2-styled, but its just my way of spriting.( That doesn't mean that you can't say something against him.) I made him form scratch, but as you see I have Dennis next to him to compare them a bit and to see how he should look like. So my sprites so far: face (Click to View) And the first sprites8th one is strange) Spoiler (Click to View) The progress maybe will be kinda slow( I have pretty much to do), but I guess I will finish him. To the attacks: I am not a good datachanger, so they probably won't be advanced, but I thought of this: He will have two long range attacks, four melee attacks and some kind of devastating hellmove. After doing one of the melee attacks, he will be able to perform different combos by pressing D, J or A. So I it will hopefully make fun to play with him although the DC won't be that impressive. RE: [char] Cendrael - The Lost Global Mod - 06-18-2009 in the (f.e) walking frames the feet are a little bit too thin.. also in the super attack and at the normal attacking is he supposed to be thin? if yes change the thickness of the feets in the standing frame too.. other than that quite cool Keep it up. Also it would be batter to put it on white frame in stand of black, because he has dark cloth. In the Face he has eyebrows but i don't see any on the char it's self also he legs are too skinney... make em' alilttle fatter (my opinion) I like where your going with this (you have improved alot) just edit someof the stuff i said, k? RE: [char] Cendrael - Ramond - 06-18-2009 For the combos, maybe an idea. You could introduce (warning SF) high kick, med kick and low kick. The high kick would kick the opponent upwards so he flies into the air, med kick kicks him further away and low kick to the ground. Just giving ideas/inspiration. RE: [char] Cendrael - 3rdEnemy - 06-19-2009 Yeah that's good idea - i made that to mark I would just add that make the attack distance different - like the low kick stands in place the mid moves a little further and the high moves lot. RE: [char] Cendrael - Reaper - 06-19-2009 Your are talking exactly about what I wanted to do He was supposed to have up, med and down-kick But I didn't want them to introduce the combo but to go on with it and the character itself should maybe also go up/down/forward. We will see. Anyway, yes he is going to be a bit skinney, but like he is in the standing frames so I will probably have to make his legs a bit thicker in the other ones. One thing I forgot: He is a bit taller than normal chars because his hair isn't that high. If he was at normal size, he would LOOK smaller... Edit: Just realized that I am not allowed to release him if I want to partcipiate in forum mod. |
