[solved] itrkind3 not contining - Madara Uchiha - 07-31-2009 I seemed to have encountered this problem again. I checked the last thread i made, but it only said how to fix the frames i had given. Know i having another problem, were when the character grabs the opponent then opoints out an ball which explodes, and hits the opponent away. only problem is, i want to make it so when the explosion comes out, the character should still go to some frames before he can move about. Sadly the character ignores the next: frame and just goes to next: 999 I need to no what i am doing wrong and how to fix it. I tried changing the frames to state 9, so that it will think it is still holding the opponent, but that didn't seem to work, so know i am asking for help. The move:
RE: itrkind3 not contining - Alblaka - 07-31-2009 Can't work. If you char is grabbing someone, but the grabbed enemy gets knocked down, your char IMMEADEANTLY goes to frame 999=0. But you can make the char stopping the catch (with going into a frame without cpoint/state:9) directly before the explosion, then the enemy will get hit and your char can continue the after-move. RE: itrkind3 not contining - Alblaka - 07-31-2009 Correct ^^ And if you modify the explosion, so it appears on the enemy and hits him in a special moment, noone will even see the enemy (which will go to the jumping frames after you released him for a short second). It'll all be only a task of timing ^^ RE: itrkind3 not contining - Madara Uchiha - 07-31-2009 So is there a way to make it so the explosion will be exactly on the opponent? cause i am just making an extra frame with, which has a wait of 0 then the ball is opointed out in that frame. There is a MAJOR difference... And since the sprites are open avaible on the net (which causes them to be overused)... Maybe he COPIED your move but not stolen it ^^ |
