Hm, that's what we have so far - is a bit less for a tournament. I could just start a very very small tournament for four or five people and hope that more guys will notice it then...

If you bothered getting a real client I don't think it'd be that much trouble since it wouldn't be as cpu intensive.
Not sure about connection speed, however I see loads of people netplay stuff like SWR while remaining their clients running, so yeah.
