RE: GoogleBot and Yahoo! - Silverthorn - 08-14-2009 13 users active | |- members: 4 || ||- Alectric ||- Daymio ||- Magnamancy ||- naruto hyuuga | |- guests: 7 | |- bots: 2 ||- Yahoo! ||- GoogleBot All 4 member-spots are taken. Bots = indexing machines. They see the same a guest would see. And you can't click on guests, can you? :P RE: GoogleBot and Yahoo! - Daymio - 08-14-2009 ok... that explain it... but what are bots used for??? RE: GoogleBot and Yahoo! - Silverthorn - 08-14-2009 The result you see when you enter stuff into Google... Google has to "visit" the sites beforehand. And that's the job of the GoogleBot. Checking new content/updating old one so that Google is up-to-date. e: yay, happy ninja-day RE: GoogleBot and Yahoo! - Daymio - 08-14-2009 thx. for explanation.... TOPIC SOLVED |
